2018 Winter Youth Assembly at the UN

Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF) is pleased to announce that preparations are underway for the upcoming session of the Youth Assembly in 2018. Organized on the theme of “Innovation and Collaboration for a Sustainable World,” the 21st session of the Youth Assembly will serve as a forum to open up new pathways for cooperation, while harnessing the creativity and energy of youth delegates for global impact. In alignment with the upcoming 2018 High-Level Political Forum, the conference will focus on the environmental dimensions of the 2030 Agenda, particularly Goals 671112, and 15. Outstanding Youth Delegate

Carrying on this year's successful run, FAF will once again recognize two (2) Outstanding Youth Delegates for the 2018 Winter edition. The winners will have the unique opportunity to speak during the Youth Assembly and inspire other young people through their work and commitment to global development and the success of the SDGs. More opportunities for accepted delegates will be announced next year.

Unfortunately, there is no scholarship opportunity available for the Winter edition. Please look out for announcements for the 2018 Summer edition. We suggest applicants to check local organizations and associations, such as the Lions or Rotary clubs in their area for sponsorship opportunities. Former delegates have found that a search through the internet, academic scholarships, and local and national sources can also be a source of subsidy and support.

You can also utilize our fundraising guide, which provides suggestions to help with self-funding efforts.

How to Participate?

You can apply as a delegate/observer by registering for the Conference only or for the Delegate Package (which includes both the conference and additional services such as accommodation, meals, and an exclusive networking opportunity).
