The Youth Assembly is the largest and longest-running youth conference at the United Nations.
Now in its 15th year, the Youth Assembly at the United Nations has run 19 sessions since its inception in 2002 and have touched the lives of nearly 14,000 young people from more than 100 countries around the world.
With the support of its partners, the Youth Assembly’s powerful impact ripples far beyond the conference. Delegates are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to become active leaders and engaged citizens in their communities. Notable Youth Assembly alumni include former UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth Ahmad Alhendawi.
