“This conference is a contribution to personal development. It is an experience that will help me move in the right direction in the future. You can hear the opinions of other people and nations, and understand their worldview on the current situation in the world. You can learn the practice of solving global problems. I am a citizen of a developing country, for me this conference gave valuable knowledge that can be applied in my country.”

“The conference was very uplifting and motivational and sparked a fire in me to want to be the difference maker. I feel like this career needs someone like me who is African-American, has tattoos and pierced ears to show the younger generations that there are great careers in foreign policy and public affairs.”

"My experience at the Youth Assembly at the United Nations started on 2016 when I participated at the Winter Assembly. For me that was an amazing experience. Having the chance to be at the UN HQ, being able to listen and learn from role models for youth and other young leaders, made me feel how important the youth is to achieve sustainable development. I remember Mr. Ahmad Alhendawi telling us that we were the first generation that could eradicate poverty but the last one that can stop climate change, that statement just filled my soul with the desire to go beyond, double my actions in my community and empower local youth so they are not left behind in this process. On 2017 I was a Delegate for the winter conference as well and it was amazing to see some friends back and even join the panel with UN Women as a former Women Champion for Empower Women Movement for Women Economic Empowerment for UN Women. I have grow a lot and for sure this space is a relevant space for global youth."
