Early-Bird Registration Period
April 3 – May 1, 2017
Youth from around the world are invited to apply for this year’s Summer Youth Assembly at the United Nations, tentatively scheduled on August 9 - 12, 2017. Delegate applications are open to youth between the ages of 16 - 28 who exemplify strong potential or have made an impact as leaders and changemakers in their communities. Interested applicants who are 29 years or older may apply as an Observer.
Participants who register during the Early-Bird registration period have the opportunity to attend a briefing/visit at a Permanent Mission to the United Nations in addition to all of the conference sessions at the Youth Assembly at the United Nations.
To receive the Early-Bird benefit, accepted applicants should register on or before May 1, 2017. International applicants must provide U.S. visa approval notice by June 15, 2017.
Participants will receive their conference completion certificate after the conference upon email request (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The 20th session of the Youth Assembly at the United Nations presents both an enormous opportunity and a challenge to stimulate and ensure youth engagement and participation in achieving an inclusive and sustainable future where no one is left behind. Guided by the overarching principle of the 2030 Agenda, “leaving no one behind,” the conference will explore cross-cutting issues and solutions for sustainable development in the social, economic, and environmental dimensions.
